Traffic counts in Msida

Crowd Net has taken video footage for traffic counts purposes in Msida on the 3rd and 6th July. Further counts at the same junctions will be taking place next Wednesday 17th July at:


· Junction A – Valley Road j/w slip road from Regional Road
· Junction B – Valley Road j/w slip road to Regional Road
· Junction C – Regional Road j/w slip road to Valley Road
· Junction D – Valley Road j/w slip road to Regional Road

Traffic counts in Mosta

Crowd Net Ltd. would like to inform the public in general that video cameras will be placed at the following locations in Mosta, on Wednesday 10th July and Saturday 13th July, for traffic counting purposes:

Junction A: Roundabout at Triq Valletta j/w Vjal il-Labour

Junction B: Triq Pantar j/w Triq Valletta

Junction C: Triq Pantar / Triq ta’ Torba j/w Triq Durmblat

Junction D: Triq Pantar access to PAMA

Junction E: Triq Valletta access to PAMA

Stormwater works in Mqabba

The Works and Infrastructure Department within the Ministry for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects is currently leading a project in Triq Karmenu Ciantar in Mqabba.

This work will serve to direct rain water into a new stormwater culvert system. Therefore, this road will be closed to traffic from Monday 4th February until Wednesday 20th February.

Drivers are encouraged to drive carefully and to be cautious when nearing the zone, while being requested to follow the given directions.

We thank the public for their cooperation during these improvement works, forming part of the Mqabba Regeneration Project .

Works in Triq l-Istazzjon

The Works and Infrastructure Department within the Ministry for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects, are carrying out works in Triq l-Istazzjon, Mtarfa.

Works include removal of weed and accretions that were causing structural damages to the rock face. This led to unstable sections of rocks that were falling on the road surface. The Department will be implementing the necessary repair works and stabilisation measures.

Transport Malta is closing access to vehicles and pedestrians in part of Triq l-Imtarfa to Triq il-Maltin Internati u Eżiljati in Mtarfa to ensure safety precaution.

With immediate effect and until further notice, all points of entry to this part of the road including the staircase at the top of the road, will be closed.

The public is kindly asked to follow the no entry signs on site.

The Works and Infrastructure Department is coordinating works with the Department of the Civil Protection to ensure that the best safety measures are in place.
